Share results with stakeholders
Sharing your results well is just as important as the results themselves. A clear, confident debrief builds trust with stakeholders and makes it easier to secure support for future campaigns.
Telling the story
Start with the goal. What were you trying to achieve? Then show what happened. Use your data to answer three questions:
- Did learners engage? Share your participation and completion rates.
- Did learners learn? Share performance data, topic results and confidence survey outcomes.
- Did it connect to business outcomes? This is the hardest one to answer after a single campaign, but it's worth trying. If your desired end result was measurable, how is that metric tracking?
Not every campaign will have a clean business outcome you can point to yet. That's okay. Confidence survey data and strong performance numbers are meaningful indicators of progress, and they're worth sharing.
Your Yarno CSM can help you prepare for a stakeholder presentation. Reach out if you'd like support putting your results together.
What if results didn't meet expectations?
That's part of the process. Low participation might point to a communications issue. Weak performance on certain topics might mean the content needs work, or that the knowledge gap was bigger than expected. Modest confidence survey shifts might mean learners need more time or more campaigns on the same topic.
Be honest with stakeholders about what you saw and what you'll do differently. That kind of transparency builds more trust than a polished but incomplete story.
