Who they are
Kent relocation services are the largest family-owned Australian relocation and removals provider. They have 70 years of expertise, with an extensive network of branches and partners, as well as one of the largest and most efficient moving fleets in the country.

The challenges
Standardising processes
Kent wanted to find a way to modernise the warehouse's toolbox talks and standardise processes and procedures for removalists and warehouse employees. They needed an easy tool to develop and deliver training, and one that gave them the ability to create bespoke content.
Distributed workforce
Kent has over 500 employees spread out across the country, they needed a digital training solution that could be accessed from anywhere, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. With such a distributed and diverse workforce it was hard for them to provide consistent and engaging training.
Damaged items
They needed to reduce the number of damage claims of their top five – TVs, tables, lounges and armchairs, mattresses, and refrigerators – by refreshing the handling training on these goods.
Paper-based training
One of the challenges they faced was being caught in the past – their training processes were largely paper-based, manual, and hard to coordinate. They needed a digital platform to streamline training delivery, monitor team performance, and identify areas for improvement. They also wanted to make the learning more interactive and fun.

How Yarno addressed these challenges
As part of the Sprouta network, Yarno partnered with Kent Relocation Services to upskill their removalists and warehouse employees. They wanted everyone to follow the same policies and procedures to ‘do things the Kent way’ – and safely reduce injury and the risk of damage to customers’ belongings. Yarno created an embed campaign aimed at reducing claims on their top five most affected items, turning key procedures into bite-sized microlearning content. It was brought to life through short videos, GIFs, and memes, with gamified features like leaderboards to boost engagement. The campaign got people talking, with over 100 learners embracing the competitive element while reinforcing essential knowledge and best practices.
