Review and reflect

The best Yarno admins treat every campaign as a learning experience in itself. Taking a little time to reflect now will make your next campaign noticeably better.

Post-campaign reflection

Work through these questions after every campaign. You don't need to answer all of them in depth. Even a few honest notes will help — your answers below save automatically.

Goals and content

  • Did your campaign goals turn out to be the right focus? Would you set them differently next time?
  • Were there topics learners consistently struggled with that need more coverage?
  • Was the question count and campaign length right for your audience?

Engagement

  • How was participation? What drove it or got in the way?
  • Did your communications land well? What would you change?
  • Did incentives (if you used them) have the effect you expected?

Process

  • How did the content build process go? Was working with SMEs smooth, or were there bottlenecks?
  • Was stakeholder review timely? Is there anything you'd do to make that easier next time?
  • What would you start, stop or keep doing?

Using your data to inform what comes next

Your post-campaign data is more than a report card. It's a map of where to go next.

  • Topics with low performance or low confidence scores are strong candidates for a follow-up campaign.
  • Learners who didn't complete the campaign might benefit from a shorter burst to re-engage them.
  • Strong results in one area might free you up to focus your next campaign on something new.

If you're building a 12-month learning plan, now is a good time to update it with what you've learned. Head to Section 6 for guidance on planning your learning calendar and building a repeatable campaign process.
