Every day, truck drivers keep Australia moving. Long hours, tight schedules, changing conditions, and decisions that matter.

That’s why Yarno is proud to be working with Queensland Trucking Association (QTA) on the Think. Act. Drive. campaign: a practical learning experience designed to help drivers stay safe on and off the road. The Think. Act. Drive. program is funded by the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator's (NHVR) Heavy Vehicle Safety Initiative (HVSI), supported by the Australian Government. Watch this video, (produced by Yarno) to raise awareness of this important initiative:

Why Think. Act. Drive. matters

Most incidents on the road aren’t about not knowing the rules. They’re about split-second decisions, habits, pressure and distractions. The human stuff.

Think. Act. Drive. helps drivers understand:

  • Why behaviours drive actions
  • How everyday choices affect safety
  • What helps drivers stay in control, even when things don’t go to plan

It’s about awareness first, because safer decisions start with understanding what’s influencing you in the moment.

Learning made for real life

This training isn’t theory-heavy or time-consuming. It’s built around:

  • Short, quick quizzes
  • Simple, real-life examples from drivers
  • Scenarios that feel familiar, on the road and off it

The goal isn’t to lecture. It’s to get drivers thinking about situations they face every day and how small changes can make a big difference.

Better decisions. Safer outcomes.

By improving decision-making, Think. Act. Drive. supports drivers to:

  • Recognise risky situations earlier
  • Pause before reacting
  • Make safer choices under pressure

This campaign was built specifically for truck drivers, with their realities front of mind. No jargon. No fluff. Just practical learning that fits into the working day.

If you’re a driver, or support drivers, this is learning worth doing.
