We don’t like to toot our own horn… unless it’s in celebration of some top-tier L&D recognition. And today? Toot toot, friends.

We’re thrilled to share that Yarno has been named a finalist in not one, but two categories at the prestigious Asia Pacific Learning Impact Awards, hosted by the Institute for Learning and Performance (ILP). These awards shine a light on the standout people, teams, and solutions in the learning and development space – and we’re chuffed to be in such good company.

Finalist: Learning & Development Provider of the Year 🧠💥

This category celebrates Learning & Development providers who go above and beyond for their customers – those who don’t just tick the training box, but spark real transformation. That’s the sweet spot Yarno plays in.

We blend behavioural science, bite-sized learning, and engaging design to create learning that actually sticks. And, we're proud to be recognised for our continuous delivery of effective and engaging learning for our customers.  Our most recent innovation, Yarno AI, exemplifies this.

Yarno AI is a generative AI-powered tool built directly into our platform, enabling customers to transform raw content, like policy documents, toolbox talks, or training materials, into high-quality, quiz-based learning in minutes. It reduces the barriers to creating and maintaining learning campaigns, especially for organisations with limited internal L&D capacity. Barriers include the time and effort required to create relevant, engaging training content. Yarno AI enables learning and development teams to generate better training content, faster. Chris Tan, Learning and Development Manager at Winning Group:

Yarno AI reduces content creation time by up to 80% vs traditional methods.

Shane Tucker, General Manager of Safety, Risk and Compliance at Ron Finemore Transport, describes his experience using Yarno AI:

Yarno AI has been a game-changer for us. I feed in the content from our monthly toolbox talks and in minutes it generates five sharp, relevant refresher questions for our drivers. It’s easy, it’s fast, and it saves me a heap of time. What used to take me hours now takes minutes – without compromising on quality or impact.

Beyond the tool itself, our service is what sets us apart. Our dedicated customer success managers and instructional designers work in close partnership with our customers, developing learning campaigns, and providing strategic guidance, data insights, and ongoing learning recommendations. We offer Australian-based customer support to learners, Yarno admins and managers, five days a week.

By combining the latest technology with deep learning expertise and personalised service, Yarno continues to lead the way in delivering L&D that’s not just innovative but genuinely transformational.

Finalist: Learning Solution of the Year – External Provider 🎯📈

This one’s all about outcomes, and we’re here for it.

We submitted a project that we’re particularly proud of – one where we worked alongside our incredible customer, Kent Relocation Services, to increase their learning ROI. Implementing our team-based learning approach and using gamification elements (i.e., leaderboards and badges), we helped Kent drive up engagement rates and reduce damage claims by 41%!

Kent had a pressing business problem: increasing rates of damage to high-value items during household relocations. These incidents were not only costly (leading to high-value claims) but also damaging to customer trust and team confidence.

Stakeholders across the business – leadership, operations, and safety teams – shared a common goal: reduce claims and improve consistency in how team members handled and protected items. Their requirements were clear:

- A learning solution that could be rolled out nationally across a dispersed, mobile workforce.

- Training that was engaging, accessible, and relevant to on-the-job tasks.

- A shift from outdated, paper-based manuals to modern, trackable learning

- Tangible improvements in operational outcomes, specifically claim reduction.

Kent’s challenge was multi-layered. Policies and procedures weren’t being consistently followed or reinforced. Teams were often learning “on the fly” with varying standards across branches. Traditional training methods weren’t engaging or practical for time-poor teams on the road.

Yarno’s solution was a targeted “embed” microlearning campaign, designed to close the gap between policy and practice. Working closely with Kent’s operations and safety stakeholders, Yarno transformed high-risk procedures into bite-sized learning modules featuring visual scenarios, GIFs, and quiz-based questions. Campaigns were delivered via mobile devices, enabling teams to learn in minutes on the job.

The solution was designed with input from subject matter experts to ensure the tone, content, and context aligned with real-world operations. Gamified features like leaderboards boosted engagement, while performance data allowed leaders to track results. This tailored approach delivered an experience that aligned with stakeholder expectations and addressed critical business challenges. The results exceeded expectations: a 41% reduction in claims and $30,000 in monthly savings.
