Prove your people understood it
We turn your policies into short quizzes, score each learner against a pass mark you set, and keep a dated, named record of who's compliant. When a regulator, auditor or board asks, you'll have the answer in minutes.

Completion records used to be enough. That's changing.
Every Australian state and territory now has enforceable obligations for psychosocial hazards. Victoria’s regulations started in December 2025.
In NSW, the Code of Practice became enforceable on 1 July 2026, and SafeWork NSW’s new psychosocial inspectors now check every workplace they visit with 200+ workers.
Safe Work Australia is clear: workers should show they understand their training, and you should keep a record. A completion certificate doesn’t prove that.
Training is one control among several, and no training tool, ours included, makes you compliant on its own. We can give you strong, specific evidence that your people understood their obligations.

How a compliance campaign works
You set the standard; we help you build it. Yarno tracks who meets it.
Choose the pass mark and how long someone stays compliant once they pass. Twelve months, say. Not just "completed", but scored to a bar you set.
Bring your policies and procedures. Our learning designers turn them into short, scenario-based questions, or your own team can write them.
Learners work through it on any device, in minutes, around their shifts. Anyone who doesn't reach the pass mark is shown they're not compliant yet and invited to try again.
Before anyone's compliance lapses, Yarno invites them back in. Every learner shows as compliant, due soon or overdue, so you're not chasing a spreadsheet.
What you can run as a compliance campaign
If people need to understand a policy or procedure, and you need to show they did, compliance campaigns can help.
Some of the obligations organisations bring us:
- Psychosocial hazards. What managers and staff need to know about identifying and reporting psychosocial risk, and their part in managing it.
- Respect@Work. The positive duty to prevent sexual harassment, including what managers must do when someone speaks up.
- WHS induction. Emergency procedures, hazard reporting and site rules, checked before new starters are on the floor.
- Chain of Responsibility. Fatigue, load restraint and vehicle safety obligations for transport and logistics teams.
- Code of conduct. Your own code, in your own words, rather than a generic version of someone else's.
- Privacy and data handling. How your people collect, store and share customer information.

Your policies, turned into questions people answer
Send us your current policies and procedures, and our learning designers will turn them into a compliance campaign. We write questions around the decisions your learners actually make at work, not around everything that could be said about a topic.
You remain responsible for the legal accuracy of the documents you send us. If you have a legal partner, their material works just as well.
Yarno AI can draft questions from your policies if you like. It's opt-in; your admin reviews every question before learners see it, and it never trains on your data.

Evidence-ready reporting
If you've ever needed to answer "who's compliant, who's due soon, and who's overdue" for an auditor, a regulator, or your own peace of mind, this is built for exactly that.
The reporting is designed to answer this instantly for every learner, at any time, down to individual learner drill-downs if you need to follow up with someone directly.

How Yarno integrates into your business
Yarno can be your end-to-end compliance training solution, or it can integrate easily with your LMS (or even your existing learning tool). Yarno is built to ensure employees are compliant and understand the material, not just to tick a box.

Frequently asked questions
Evidence and audit readiness
Will this hold up if a regulator or auditor asks for records?
Every learner has a named, dated, scored record you can pull up in minutes that shows who passed, their score, and when they're due again. That's the kind of evidence Safe Work Australia's guidance asks you to keep. It's one part of meeting your duty, alongside your other controls.
Who can this be shown to, beyond the regulator?
Records export to CSV or Excel, so they go straight into a board pack, an insurer's review or a customer audit.
What happens if someone doesn't pass?
They see a clear "not yet compliant" result and are invited to try again. Once they reach your pass mark, they're marked compliant.
Does compliance status expire?
Yes, on a timeframe you set, for example, annually. Learners are invited back before it lapses.
Why is there no leaderboard?
Because compliance isn't a competition. Everyone needs to clear the same bar on their own schedule, so we track that.
How is Yarno different from a completion certificate?
A completion certificate shows that someone completed a course. Yarno's Compliance Campaigns use scenario-based quizzes to help learners understand their compliance obligations and show you what your learners do and don't know. We can provide detailed reporting on your learners' strongest and weakest topic areas to guide future learning and help your teams comply.
Content and ownership
Does Yarno help write the content?
Yes, we can help! Bring your existing policies and procedures, and our team of expert learning designers will turn them into a Yarno-ready compliance campaign.
Who's responsible for the content being legally accurate?
You are responsible for providing Yarno with legally accurate documents, and we’ll turn them into quiz content your teams will engage with. Yarno doesn't provide legal endorsement of the content itself.
Does Yarno use AI to write our compliance content?
Yarno’s AI tool can help draft quiz questions from the policies and procedures you provide, but it's opt-in, and your administrator reviews every AI-drafted question before learners see it. Nothing is published without human review.
Yarno AI never trains on your data, and processing stays within Yarno's own Australian AWS environment.

Integration
We already have an LMS. Why do we need this as well?
You might not need to replace anything. Your LMS can keep delivering courses. We show you who understood the material, which regulators increasingly ask about.
We already have a compliance training tool. What does this do that ours doesn't?
It may cover the minimum. The question is what you'd show if someone asked for proof that a specific person understood a specific obligation. If the answer is a completion certificate, that's the gap we fill. We can sit alongside your current tool or replace the parts that don't give you real evidence.
Does this replace our policy management system?
No. We sit alongside whatever you use, turn its content into questions and give you evidence that people understood it.
What platforms does Yarno integrate with?
Yarno is a web-based application, and most Yarno rollouts need no integration at all, just a CSV upload of learner details.
Where you want a deeper connection, Yarno supports:
- Single sign-on via SAML (proven with Microsoft Entra ID)
- Webhooks, authenticated with a token you control
- CSV import and export for bulk user management
- Custom API access for pushing and pulling learner and campaign data, built for customers on request
Getting started
How do I find out more?
Give us a call on 1300 79 75 46 or fill out our contact us form and we'll get in touch straightaway.
How is Yarno priced?
It depends on your organisation's size and what you need to cover, because compliance scope varies a lot. Get in touch, and we'll talk it through.
We have a deadline. How quickly can we go live?
Our learning designers can write and launch a campaign in two to three weeks. Tell us your deadline, and we'll plan backwards from it.
We’ve used other compliance tools before that haven’t worked. How is Yarno different?
Fair enough. Short questions on any device rather than long modules, one clear status per learner, and a person from our team working with yours. If it isn't working, you'll hear from us before you have to tell us.
Security and data
Can our IT and security team review this before we sign off?
Yes. Send us your questionnaire, and we'll work through it with your team. We can share our SOC 2 Type 2 report, penetration test summary and sub-processor list under an NDA. More on our Security page.
Is Yarno SOC 2 Type 2 compliant?
Yes. Yarno is continuously audited by Sensiba to SOC 2 Type 2 standards and an independent security company performs an annual penetration test of the platform. We also maintain a sub-processor list and can work through a security questionnaire directly with your team. See our Security page for more information.
Where is our data stored?
In Australia. Our core platform runs on AWS in Sydney, with backups also stored in Australia.
