Capability uplift

Training that shows up in your numbers

Yarno capability campaigns turn a few minutes a day into lasting knowledge for frontline teams, and tie it to the metric leadership asked you to move.

Completion isn't capability

Your team did the training. The course shows as complete. Six weeks later the same mistakes turn up on the shop floor, on the road or on site.

That's not a people problem. Most training is delivered once and forgotten within days. For frontline teams who can't step away for an hour of e-learning, it often isn't delivered at all.

Leadership wants the gap closed, and they want to see it in the numbers.

How we build capability that lasts

Every campaign follows the Customer Playbook, a method we've refined over ten years with Australian organisations. You're not handed software and left to it. A Yarno learning expert works with you at every step.

1.START WITH THE METRIC

We agree what needs to change on the job, and how you'll measure it: sales, NPS, claims, incidents, or your team's confidence.

2.BUILD IN YOUR VOICE

Questions are written for your business, about your products and processes, featuring your own people. No generic content library.

3.RUN THE RIGHT CAMPAIGN

A few minutes a day, on any device, with teams competing on a leaderboard. Embeds build knowledge over weeks. Bursts get it across fast.

4.SHOW WHAT CHANGED

Pre- and post-campaign confidence surveys, real-time dashboards and a post-campaign report you can take straight to leadership.

Embed or burst: choose by what you need to change

Both use short, sharp questions with instant feedback, and both run team against team. The difference is pace. Not sure which fits? Your learning expert will help you choose.

Embed campaigns

Build knowledge that lasts

Learners get a few new questions each day over two to three weeks. Questions come back a few days later, so knowledge is recalled until it sticks. This is spaced repetition, the most reliable way we know to beat the forgetting curve.

Best for

  • Induction and onboarding
  • Product and sales knowledge
  • Safety and technical processes
  • Anything where lasting behaviour change is the goal

Burst campaigns

Get it across fast

Learners get every question at once and answer them in one sitting, any time within the campaign window. Shorter and more focused, with no repeats.

Best for

  • Product launches and time-sensitive updates
  • Reinforcing a face-to-face session
  • Quick knowledge checks and refreshers
  • New starters signing up in their own time

Most programs use both

Embeds and bursts aren't either/or. The strongest programs combine them.

Reinforce, then embed

Run a five-question burst straight after face-to-face training, then a longer embed a few weeks later to lock it in.

A series of bursts

Short bursts spaced across a quarter still use spaced repetition, just with a lighter touch each time.

Embed the core, burst the updates

An embed builds the foundation for new starters. Bursts keep everyone current as products and processes change.

Questions that come up

We already have an LMS. Why do we need Yarno?

Yarno doesn't replace your LMS. Your LMS delivers the course. Yarno makes sure the knowledge sticks afterwards, and shows you who understood it. They sit side by side.

Is this another platform for IT to manage?

Not to get started. Most rollouts begin with a CSV upload or an email or SMS invite, with no HRIS sync or single sign-on needed. Integrations are there when you want them, not as a precondition.

How much time does it take learners?

A few minutes a day, on any device. It fits around shifts, deliveries and customer peaks, so no one comes off the floor for an hour.

How do we prove it worked?

You set the measure up front. Confidence surveys before and after each campaign, real-time dashboards and a post-campaign report from your learning expert give you evidence to take to leadership.

Who writes the content?

We build it with you, in your voice and about your business. If you need content designed from scratch, Yarno Studio can do that too.

How long before we see results?

Engagement shows from the first week. Behaviour change and business results take longer. That's why most customers run a program of campaigns over the year, not a single one.
