Every few months we highlight the newest product features that we're excited about. Here goes!

Support

New content planning support material

Writing successful and meaningful Yarno questions can feel hard at first. But it doesn’t have to!

Joel’s added a series of how-to pages to the knowledge base that explain what goes into great multiple choice questions. The purpose of this content is to provide guidance as you’re writing each question.

Check them out in the Content planning & creation section of the knowledge base.

Teams

View teams and learners in a team

Yarno has supported the concept of teams for a while now. In this release, we’ve added a brand new Team management screen that gives a lot more visibility.

You can now easily view all the teams in your account, as well as how many learners are in each team.

Team search

You can also find a team using the new predictive search field, located in the top right of the table.

Edit a team

We’ve created a new Team screen that allows you to edit the team name and add, move and remove learners from the team.

View team results

We’ve added a new team results page that presents key stats for each team, along with a list of all Upcoming, Past and Active campaigns.

Learners

Learner search

One of our most requested features was a search function for the Learner table. And I’m happy to say, it’s here!

It works in exactly the same way as the search on the Team pages, and allows you to easily find specific learners.

View individual learner results

Results for each learner are now presented in a single screen. All key metrics are here, along with all Upcoming, Past and Active campaigns.

Questions

View individual question results

Results for each question are also now presented in a single screen, as well as key metrics such as best and lowest team performance.

Sort questions by newest to oldest

Sorting questions by most recent first was another popular customer request. The sort feature makes it easy to view questions based on when they were created in Yarno.

Net Promoter Score

Learner feedback is super valuable, yet hard to come by. We ask learners for feedback at the end of every campaign so that we can hear what’s working well and what could be improved.

Previously, the end of campaign email included a button that went to a Google form. The form itself was ok, but viewing and interpreting the results in Google wasn’t as user friendly as we’d like.

So, we replaced the Google form with a NPS question that’s presented in the end of campaign email.

When the learner clicks a rating in that email, they’re taken to a Thank you page. Here we ask one additional question to give us context about their rating.

We’re hopeful that by introducing the NPS question and reducing the number of questions we ask, we'll see an improvement in response rates and the overall learner experience.

Upcoming features

Bursts

Bursts are a fantastic way to send short, targeted bursts of information to your team. Bursts are different to campaigns in that; they're shorter, at around five to ten questions, can be answered in one go and aren't re-presented over time.
